Our mission in its essence is quite simple; we want to clean up a plastic bag. The fact that this plastic bag is located on the moon makes things more complicated. The bag has been left behind after the landing of the Apollo 11 mission (the one that put the first humans on the Moon) and so became one of the first pieces of human litter to be thrown out in outer space.
